Breakfast, brunch, coffee
The Adventure Cafe Bar offers a fantastic breakfast menu for the morning after the night before, from Eggs Royale to a Full Monty, gorgeous Flat White Coffee to Bloody Mary’s. You can also choose from a lunch menu of Burgers, Salads, Sandwiches and Soup with a thoroughly tested wine list and “alfresco” option on the private terrace. In the evening the Adventure Cafe becomes a vibrant cocktail bar, a stones throw from night clubs and other bars and just a ten second stumble to The Travel Lodge Hotel.
Boston Tea Party – A modern independent British café with a mission to serve good things in great spaces that nourish the body & warm the heart. A lovely big bright space with plenty of space for bigger groups, great coffee and really good food.
Cafe Lucca – located in the Loft on Bartlett Street, this is a light airy space that serves a lovely breakfast and brunch selection a colourful display of amazing salads and cakes that are just way too tempting. Worth a walk up the hill to find it.
Green Bird Cafe – 11 Margaret’s Buildings.
Lulu Caffe – A lovely little independent cafe with great food and free wifi.
Same Same But Different – Bartlett Street.
Society Café – Chilled, relaxed, urban living space. A must visit for your caffeine fix.

The Ivy Bath Brassiere – The oh so glamorous Ivy Brasserie has quickly become a great addition to the Bath restaurant scene, located in a beautiful building in the middle of Milsom Street. Enjoy a relaxed yet sophisticated all-day dining experience.
The Circus Cafe and Restaurant – Small, busy, much admired, family-run restaurant; serving seasonal, locally sourced, freshly cooked food; interestingly chosen wine list; charming and welcoming staff; sensible and honest prices. Set in a fine Georgian house in Bath’s most beautiful position – between The Circus and The Royal Crescent.
The Porter (now Clayton’s Kitchen) is a firm favourite with Bath locals, all-day informal kitchen-style dining headed up by double Michelin-starred chef Rob Clayton who delivers an ever -changing menu of seasonal dishes. There are two bars serving specialist craft beers and cocktails there is something for everyone’s taste and it has a lovely buzzy ambience
The Roman Baths Kitchen – Overlooking the famous Roman Baths and Bath Abbey this restaurant has all day and evening menus, with exclusive room hires available.

Gascoyne Place – Public House and restaurant within a unique Grade II Listed Georgian building, situated opposite the Theatre Royal, an eclectic menu, cosy interior and good atmosphere.
The Marlborough Tavern, The Marlborough Tavern’s recipe for success is simple: serve great tasting, home cooked food in a welcoming pub atmosphere and back it up with friendly, efficient service. It’s a place that everyone feels welcome in. There is a lovely sunny outside terrace with lots of space too.
There’s been a pub on the site of The Chequers since 1776. You’ll find a menu of great tasting, high quality gastropub food, served in a warm and friendly pub atmosphere, really popular with locals, always a good sign.
Bath Brew House. There’s something for everyone at The Bath Brew House. A fantastic micro-brewery and huge main bar with carefully chosen local and international craft beers on cask and keg, an open kitchen with charcoal spit and a smokehouse for smoking any foods they can. Lively and a little bit different too.

Hudson Steakhouse Bar & Grill – Best steaks in Bath in a sophisticated pub conversion at the top of Walcot Street a sophisticated vibe, this is one to dress up for.
Menu Gordon Jones. Exquisite european and british cuisine – expect the unexpected with a thrilling wide ranging menu. It’s a tiny space and really popular so book well in advance.
